SEPA is collaborating with the Environment Agency and the Environment and Heritage Service in Northern Ireland in the production of a range of Pollution Prevention Guidance Notes (PPGs). Displaying all the Agency logos, each PPG is targeted at a particular industrial sector or activity and aims to provide advice on statutory responsibilities and good environmental practice.

As well as being used by Agency staff, the PPGs also function as invaluable sources of advice for industry and members of the public. Subject to availability, hard copies of each PPG can be obtained by contacting SEPA offices. Note that each PPG is updated from time to time, and the date of the most recent update can be found at the end of both the paper and electronic versions.
